Despite a brief stint with Inverness Caledonian Thistle, where he was released before making his first-team debut, Armstrong’s dedication never wavered. He found his footing with Dundee United, securing a two-year youth deal.
“When my dad told me I didn’t believe him, so Stevie had to tell me himself,” Armstrong added. “It all sort of clicked from there.”
