From Humble Beginnings to Sporting CP

Francisco Trincão, a rising star in the world of football, hails from the picturesque city of Braga in Portugal. While his roots are firmly planted in Braga, he spent his formative years in the neighboring town of Viana do Castelo. It was in this charming town that his football journey began with SC Vianense, a local club that nurtured his budding talent.

However, fate had other plans. Trincão’s career took a brief detour to FC Porto, one of Portugal’s most prestigious clubs. But the young prodigy’s journey with Porto was short-lived, as the demanding travel distance from his home in Viana do Castelo proved too much for him to handle. It was then that he decided to return to the comfort and familiar surroundings of SC Vianense.

The next chapter in Trincão’s story unfolded in Braga, where he was drawn by the presence of his family and the promise of a more supportive environment. This move was a turning point in his life, providing him with the necessary stability to flourish both on and off the field.

A Meteoric Rise Through the Ranks

From the under-17s to the senior national team, Trincão has consistently impressed at every level of Portuguese football. In 2018, he etched his name in history by winning the European Championship with the under-17 team, a testament to his exceptional skills and potential. He then went on to shine with the under-19s, cementing his reputation as a rising star in the making.

His impressive performances earned him a place in the SC Braga first team, where he made his debut in the same year he triumphed in the European Championship. Trincão’s talent was evident for all to see, and it didn’t take long for him to attract the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

A Dream Move to Sporting CP

In 2020, Trincão’s dream came true when he signed for FC Barcelona, one of the most iconic clubs in the world. During his time at the Camp Nou, he lifted the prestigious Copa del Rey, adding another feather to his already impressive cap.

After a season in England with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Trincão is now back in his homeland, ready to embark on a new chapter in his career. He has joined Sporting CP on loan, a move that has excited fans and ignited anticipation for what lies ahead.

As a new Lion, Trincão has expressed his immense joy and gratitude for this opportunity. He is determined to give his all for the club and contribute to its success. With his undeniable talent and unwavering passion for the beautiful game, Trincão is poised to make a significant impact on Sporting CP and leave his mark on Portuguese football.
